Outlook Express Tutorial:

1) In Microsoft Outlook, select Tools > E-mail Accounts.

2) Select "Add a new e-mail account"

3) Select "POP3" and click "Next"

4) Fill out the info as follows:

User Information:

Your Name: Your Name or Company Name
E-Mail Address: The E-Mail address you're setting up ,. ex yourname@yourdomain.com

Logon Information:

User Name:  The E-Mail address you're setting up ,. ex yourname@yourdomain.com
Password:     Your password

Server Information:

POP3 Server: mail.yourdomainname.com
SMTP: this depends on your ISP (internet service provider).

If you're using shaw cable, for example, smtp server would be smtp.ok.shawcable.net
If you're using telus, your smtp server would be smtp.telus.net.

 

After you have filled this out, click "Test Account Settings", this will test your settings by sending a test email to your account.
