We have always known that Basesys is marginally faster than most popular open source systems out there. But by how much? We decided to put this thought to the test. We gathered the top 3 open source CMS / WMS systems out there and put them head to head against Basesys.

For the benchmarking, Apexoo Software used the AB tool (Apache Bench). This is a standard Apache benchmarking tool and comes pre-bundled with an Apache install. We also used one of the Linux machines that we have at the office, an older Dell. The results are as follows:

5.5 times faster than Wordpress

3.0 times faster than Drupal
